    Howard Motor Company

    Earl Howard standing next to an early model Chevrolet pickup truck.  Exact date of photo unknown.The Howard family began in Moore with a blacksmith shop.  Later they added wagon repair and then auto repair and ultimately became an early automobile dealership in Moore. The business stayed wihtin the family, grew across the metro and is today known as the Bob Howard Auto Mall in Edmond.

    Iowa Hotel

    This is a shot of the Iowa Hotel, built by Henry Applegate in the late 1800's.  The exact time of this photo is not known, but based on the cement sidewalks in front, the size of the tree in front and brick buildings on either side, it's safe to say it was built after the fire of 1910 that burned much of downtown Moore (but somehow spared the hotel).
